When we left the United States in January to spend four and a half months in New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji; we never could have imagined the blessings that God had in store for us. This book is part Travel Log, part tour book, and completely God inspired. It began with a desire to share our experiences with our family and friends back home. Thus, we started writing regularly to a Travel Log that we supplemented with photographs. Interwoven among the descriptions of what we were seeing and doing were observations of the people, the cultures, and the customs of New Zealand. We spent three weeks touring the South Island of New Zealand in a campervan. Then we headed to Auckland, which would serve as our home base for the next few months. It was in Auckland where we really began to live like locals. And, through that experience, we learned why New Zealanders are commonly referred to as the friendliest people in the world. Throw in a side trip to Fiji and a final ten days in Australia (where a highlight was scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef), and these four and a half months truly became an adventure of a lifetime.
